I installed ircd-2.9.32-1.i386.rpm under my RedHat 5.0 and I wounder one thing. How can I start some chanels? I like some chanels which don't disapear when i dissconect my client from the serwer or when i do a reboot. Is this possible??

Forget that, server goes down, channels goes down. Easy as 1-2-3.

..and since you arent linking to any IRC network, whats the point anyway?

OK! When the server goes down. But I don't like to have a client connected to the server all the time. Can't I keep the chanels when I dissconect from the server????

No, channels are onl yactive aslong as there are someone in them. Only option: Get a bot.. If you can find a host that allows bots..
