I have around a week to deliver a demo for a program that will basically display live video over a network!

This will be achieved by client machines connecting to a server via a telephone line. I have it setup so that the server answers the phone and connects the client onto the network.

I need as much info as possible on how to write an application in delphi that will wait for a connection from a client (preferably answer the phone itself for connection) and display live video (quality not a priority,no sound required and a reletively small image) fom a camera connected to the client machine(with a capture card).

Can this be done using delphi?
if so I need as much information as possible about this subject straight away. Any code available that will achieve this we will negotiate a fee for!!!!!!!!

Yo,
it does not seem to be a good solution to code everything from scratch ! Use free available software ! You could use the NT RAS service or Win98 Dial-In-Server for the call thing. Assign an IP-Adress to the client, that's it. Also, put a NetShow encoder on the machine that provides the live video. Use NetShow player to display the video on the client. The client can easily be configured that it dials to this machine automatically when NetShow player wants to connect to a special location, because NetShow Player is an ActiveX-Control that can be embedded in any Delphi app.
More info -> just ask.
