I'm trying to merge two list of bitmaps, created with CImageList, using the function CimageList::Create. Both of them has got the same mask.  I can transparently paint each one fine, but after I  merge these,  when I try to paint the result, It appears transparently. I have read the online help of Visual C   5.0 and have followed the steps to do it, but It doesn't seem to go.

You can create two image lists and then merge them into one with ImageList_Merge function. You need updated commctl.h comctl32.lib and comctl32.dll(version 4.72). All  these files are available with InetSDK.
