DDE between Delphi 2.0 and my application

How could I establish conversation between my application (written of course in Delphi) and Delphi 2.0 itself. My goal would be adding of the units to the project, oppening of the project or starting some menu in Delphi. I managed to communicate to Excel and between two Delphi applications.

What do you need to do exactly. Delphi provides you the tools api avail through the toolservices object.

I'm running my application through Delphi's Tools menu, sending current token as parameter. I would like this application to, for example, add something to uses clause of the currently opened Delphi unit, close this unit, make another unit active, or add some unit to the currently opened project.
At the moment my application is changing saved files (.pas and .dpr) which leads to several problems as corrupted .dpr files due to Delphi's caching and unconvinient updating dialogs just after changing of files.
Hope this will describe my goal better.
Best regards from Mico.

You should use the net and various delphi sites (super page, torry) to download some examples of delphi "experts" (no connection to this site). There're also some examples in your delphi 3 directory. The expert will let you use the toolservices object to do all you need.

I would if I've had Delphi 2.0 VCL source.
I will dag on other sites to find some of the "expert" source.
Thank you for your help.
