I'm in the process of making a site but i'm really stuck on what kind of colors i should use.  I've tried many different combinations and none of them seem to satisfy me.  My site has 3 colums and 2 rows.  One row is at the top like a header to all the pages that will contain an image to go with the site.  The first column has a dhtml script that looks like windows explorer with folders and stuff.  The middle column is were the text will be, and the right side column is for a quick reference column which will be colored.  I'm looking for a two or three color combination for the site.  So basically all i want is advice.  Oh yeah, this site is about ice hockey.

What do you mean by what "kind" of colors?  If your favorite team is the Blackhawks, then use black, white, and red.  If it's the Devils, then use black, red, and white.  I mean, what message do you want the colors to convey?  If it's just a hockey message, then pick the colors of a specific team.  Are you asking for color codes (#FFFFFF)?  If that's the case, I've got a million...
