graphic over text

ok, i have a pre made graphic i did, then in another image i wrote some words.  what I want to do is put the premade graphic IN the text, so it looks like the text has a background pattern, the graphic.  How would i go about doing that?  BTW, i'm using PS5.

ok first copy and paste the graphic into the same document as the text. command click on the layer containing the text and then select the layer containing the graphic. invert the selection and delete. then remove the layer containing the origional text....done.
