It is easy to use microphone volume control in a Win32 program by mixer API. How to control microphone volume in a Win3.1/3.11 program (under Win3.1/3.11) that must be compatible with difference sound card drivers?

Unfortunately, there is no standard API to do so in 16-bit world. You have to use specific function calls related to the sound card drivers.

Hi Chensu! Thanks for your quick reply.
But from where I may get info about Win3.1/3.11 microphone control API for the most popular sound card drivers?
I have not found in Internet anything. I think that in general
used SB and MSS standards.
