hi i would like to know how to backup a file which is login.dat to a:\
a simple code will be great thanks :)

FileCopy "C:\login.dat" "A:\NewName.Dat"

Sorry, I left out the ",".  Appologize for the carelessness.

You should substitute your filename with full path for "C:\login.dat"
