I have a tool bar on MDI frame. I added the buttons onto the tool bar. I want to have the letters as caption on that buttons. I am able to add the pictures into them but when I simply write any text in the buttons "Caption" Property they are not visible. Can anybody let me know how I can make the Caption of a button on the tool bar. I don't want to insert a BMP into it.

Try add only a new toolbar. And go to the property page by right-clicking the toolbar and select properties. There will be three tabs. Select button. Insert your button and specify the cpation. I hope this is what you want. I am not sure whether you can have both picture and caption in the same button. Anyway, you can try both.

I tried like that only, the only problem is If I have only Name in one button and if all the rest are having BMP's then I couldn't see the title, I guess the reason is title is lying at the bottom and so it is not visible. For a try if I add a caption to one of the button which is having image on it then as the size of the tool bar is increasing I could see the caption on the button. Here the problem is the buttons are getting too widened in height and the look is not good. How can I change the height of the tool bar. When I change it in the properties and apply them it is not taking the values.
