I would like to know if there is a way to recover my windows
95 serial number,as my granddaughter got to my manual and now I can`t read the serial number off what is left of it.It
is on CD-Rom and is ver 9.50 B Please Help D Graham.

If your windows is still up and running, right-click on my computer and read the serial number from the "Registered to" block.

Sorry, I mis-typed my answer.  Should have said 'If your windows is still up and running, right-click on my computer, select "properties" and read the serial number from the "Registered to" block.'

get the sesrial # problem fixed as the other system crashed.so if I can`t retrive the original is there a number that will work
