I don't know anything about sockets and I wanted to learn about them online, could someone give me the sites of some good tutorial sites?

I checked out www.sockets.com and it is worthless for someone new at socket programming, I'm looking for the basics.

I also know of a great book for beginners...
Internet Programming (Jamsa Press) ISBN=1-884133-12-6

A very good friend of mine who is extremely good today in sockets started with this book about 2 years ago. He just published his own RFC for an internet protocol (ATT-RTP) he and another friend developed at AT&T (where we all work).

Anyway, I hope this all helps.
