What are the diferrent ways in which i can optimise the use of the internet in terms of a view of a business person?

Thanks for answering.

There are always ways to get things faster, it depends only on the route of your packets... So if he find his transfert rate slow, he has to change of provider which gives more bandwidth to their destination or which is at less nodes of its destination ;)
I think this is the first way he has to investigate before thinking about an intranet :-)

Just like the regular highways, the Info Highway slows down from traffic.

Cable modem will give you the quickest transfer rate at this time. It is significantly faster than a modem. It costs a little more for service but it may be well worth it if you surf the internet for business.
