Registering ActiveX Controls?

(in the control)
I need code that will Create a Component Category in the registery, then add an activeX component to the category.

(in the container)
I also need code that will let me search the category for components.

There is a perfect axample of doing this in the June 1998 Vol. 13 No. 6 of MSJ (Microsoft System Journal).

You can download the sourcecode here:
http://www.microsoft.com/MSJ/0698/code/MSJJun98.zip

UnZip MSJJun98.zip
UnZip Jun98WinInetCode.zip that was unzipped from MSJJun98.zip.

Look at these functions in the file QuoteProviders.cpp

CreateComponentCategory()
RegisterCLSIDInCategory()
UnRegisterCLSIDInCategory()

How to enum the registred components is shown in the function EnumQuoteProviders() located in 'Stock Watcher\QuoteProviderDlg.cpp'

I forgot to say that the file QuoteProviders.cpp mentioned in my answer is located in the QuoteProviders sub-directory.
