Is it possible to create menus/toolbars in a a dialog based application?  I want to build a fairly complex control panel interface with display indicators, but I don't want or need a document or the operations associated with it.  Is this possible with MFC?

VEngineer,

Yes on both accounts. A menu can be associated with a dialog through the dialog's properties dialog. To use toolbars with dialogs, check out the www.codeguru.com site (specifically, http://www.codeguru.com/dialog/dialog_toc.shtml).
