Searching for text containing numbers

The search engines never seem to come up with anything when I search for "take 6" (a music group). Obviously the number is ignored or treated differently.
What is the correct phrase for this search and will ALL search engines know how to deal with it?

Still, some search engines like Lycos and Excite will give you nothing for "Take 6", yet they are considered fairly good engines. Lycos gives an "0 URLs found" whereas Excite finds many URLs, none of which contain the search phrase. An example for a web page ignored by the mentioned engines:

This question is ancient, but still open today.  The current version of IE is version 6.0, the current version of Netscape is 6.2.2.  IE updates are available using WindowsUpdate, and Netscape links are below.
