   I have written a VC program which is based
on dialog box , I plan to write a. hlp file So I
can realize online help. Can you help me?

You need a help authoring tool to do it. Go to http://www.microsoft.com/msdn/sdk to download the tools that come with the Platform SDK. There is Microsoft Help Workshop that allows you to create the .hlp files. Also, there are some other tools like RoboHelp (http://www.blue-sky.com) you can use. That Web site has some useful information.

Actually, HTML Help is now the recommended help system. the Platform SDK also contains Microsoft HTML Help Workshop.
