Yes VB is considered a 4GL  .

It satisfy the feature of a 4GL . It allows the design of screens
,connection to Database and it is easy and fast to develop .

Some of 4GL Program that can be found are VB (Basic), Visual Cafe(Java), FoxPro ............

I think you are able to download their trial version but not the original . From the net . Go to their Website (Microsoft, Sun) and search for the product .

Hi seahpc

Thank you for your help.
Why visual C++ isn't a 4GL. Just it is more difficult than VB?
Delphi is between VB and VC++. Do you think Delphi is a 4GL?

Cheers.

You are right Victor,

Both of them are 4GL . There are more .
To be regarded as a 4GL, there are certain features which must be satisfied .
Some of the features I have listed above . To know all features try looking at books on
system methodologies .
