Hope you don't have win 95B because I don't know if FAT32 is sopported, but almost every Linux distribution has a directory of dos utils. There you can find fips.exe, which you can run from a dos window. First READ CAREFULLY related documentation, then "defrag" your win95 partition, freeing enough space for Linux (your milleage may vary, but 500M-1.5G would be good).

The run fips, and install your Linux distribution and let lilo resolve booting.

And the advice: Change your active partition to root Linux partition (when partitioning during instalation) and when configuring LILO (LInux LOader) make it install himself on root linux partition NOT MASTER BOOT RECORD. It will save you a lot of time if a partition table virus destroys your boot, lilo won't be affected...

Good Luck,
