When I make a winsock controls connect method, state property remains 6. If I clip the code on an other new project, state is 7 at first but after few tests state changes to 6. Do You know any better winsock controls than Microsoft's?

I have had numerous problems with the MS Winsock control, especially when used as an array of controls.  Events simply would not fire.

My suggestion is to use the SocketWrench control from catalyst.  They sell a pack of internet controls, but give this one away as a promotion for their pack for free.  You can get it from http://www.catalyst.com/download/index.html along with samples etc of how it works.
