Is it possible to print from my new Dell Dimension PC to an old Apple Laserwriter IIf?  I have not been able to get it to work and have received little help from computer stores in my area.  I'd just like to confirm options before purchasing a new printer. Thanks.

Absolutely!

Yes it is possible to print to it using your serial port.

I would have to say that as the top expert on this site, this is the most common question.

If you would like to read one of my previously answered questions that deal with this exact issue you will find it in the <PAQ> List (Previously Answered Questions>.

One question in specific would be the one with the title of:

Or, I can re-post the answer at your request.
Reading these questions will help you to prepare for the type of problems (and their solutions) you may encounter before you take on getting the two communicating.

Good Luck, my friend.
