How can I load the SCSI driver ?
Hi,
There must be a scsi host adapter card in your machine. Is there one? What make and model is it?
If support for your host adapter is compiled into your kernel, you don't need to load any other drivers to access the zip drive.
If you're already successfully using a scsi hard disk, that means you do have a host adapter and kernel support for your host adapter and you don't need to load anything else. Is this the case?
If your hard disk is IDE and you've installed a scsi adapter just for the zip drive, then your kernel may well not have support for the host adapter. You will need to change your kernel for one with support for your host adapter. How you'll do this depends on your distribution of Linux. Which distribution have you installed?
