Hi,
I have problem compiling a demo program called cv_demo.pc in $ORACLE_HOME/7.3.2/precomp/demo/proc
   I used "make -f proc.mk cv_demo" and got the following results :
Semantic error at line 69, column 18, file cv_demo.pc:
        EXEC SQL EXECUTE
.................1
(1) PCC-S-02345, SQLCHECK=SEMANTICS must be given when embedded PL/SQL blocks are used

You will get this error if you have not run the "calldemo"
script before precompiling your program.

You should try to execute the sample9 demo by logging into
sqlplus as shown below:

     % scott/tiger for sample9

     % @$ORACLE_HOME/proc/demo/calldemo.sql

*** for 7.3.x

     % scott/tiger for sample9

     % @$ORACLE_HOME/precomp/demo/sql/calldemo.sql

You can now compile and execute the sample9 demo program.

If everything works fine try with your program. BTW, if you need something else please don't hesitate to contact me to my e-mail address: jmponcemartinez@hotmail.com.

Try to execute the make command adding the sqlcheck=semantics at the end.
