The toolbar now is the same color as the form (gray).  I want the toolbar background color to be white but still have the form color to be gray.  Any way of doing this?

Well i'm assuming your using the built in tool bar?? try it the old way, using a frame with no border, and add different command buttons to it for your tool bar.
just at runtime do..

frame1.width = form1.width

you will also have to move the command buttons but in most cases im going to assume you should make your form unsizable..
