simple network problem
question 1

ok, then assume that l have tree PCs', one is server then others are NT workstation, and tree of it
have network card with 10base2 and 10baseT connector. can i connect one of the workstation directly to
server 10base2 connector and another to 10baseT connector without using Hub ?

When you build a cable, the wires normally go:
Pin 1: White/Orange
Pin 2: Orange/White
Pin 3: White/Green
Pin 4: Blue/White
Pin 5: White/Blue
Pin 6: Green/White
Pin 7: White/Brown
Pin 8: Brown/White
On one end of the cable you are trying to build to connect without a hub, swap the wires on 3 and 6.
If you have 3 computers you're trying to network, you really need a hub. A 4 port hub for 10bT is really quite inexpensive. Is that not an option?
