Has anyone had experience with RA G2? Is it worth downloading? Is it any better than RA 5.0? If so, is it necessary
to uninstall the old version before launching it?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I tried G2 last month. No, you don't have to uninstall previous RealPlayer, and yes, I think you might enjoy the newer features...however, my computer is a dx486-120, and the G2 upgrade really needs a Pentium-based system to run smoothly--my playback was a little rough.  Hope this answers your question.
