Remove blank lines from SQL Plus

How to remove blank lines from SQL PLUS. When you are executing the SQL Statements.
It shows like this
SQL > Select * ....
                       --- This line has to be removed
aa    ssd    sdd

embedded will replace the lines

You execute on SQLPLUS Prompt

These are options to set.
SQL> SET EMBEDDED ON
SQL>  you enter your query here .....
