I give up, how do I determine if a string contains alphanumeric characters or
if it conatins  just  Space ???

I'm reading a line of text from a file.
Does it contain just 80 characters of space on this line? I can't tell.
I can find no command like isalphanumeric. What do I use?
Must be something simple I have overlooked!

If you want to determine if a string contains something more then spaces only:
If Len(Trim$(Str1))>0 then
0
