MPR.DLL ERROR MESSAGE

I have a problem when I leave my computer on for more than an hour or so, when I do and try to start corel wordperfect version 7 or corel calendar it gives me the error meaasge that MPR.DLL could not be found.  If I restart my computer it works fine until left idle for some time. I do have a scanjet attached and am a novice at computers can anyone help please!!! Phil

If you have any kind of power management set (aka sleep mode) that might be causing it. I've seen sleep mode cause some strange problems. If sleep mode is turned on than you would have to disable it in the BIOS. The only way into the BIOS is when the machine boots up. SOme machines will prompt you  others you just have to know the keyboard command to get in. A simpler solution could be to turn off any screensavers that you might have running. Some of the fancier ones(afterdark, etc) can cause strange problems.
