Oulook Express: How do I export message folders?

Sorry, this is probably real easy but I can't figure it...

I'm using MS Outlook 4.72, and I want to export mail folders to take home and put on my home machine (from my work machine). When I go to file>export>messages, I get 'This will export messages from Outlook Express Mail to MS Oulook or MS Exchange', which is kinda what I want to do, but not on the same machine! Can I export them as some kind of text file to mail to myself at home and then import?

Any ideas?

Thanks.

what do you want to view them with on your home machine?  Export will create a file that you can then email to yourself easily as an attachment, is this what you want to do?

You want to see the msgs in Home.  Easy way is install MS Exchange client in your home machine.

From Office, move the mails to personal folders (i.e PST file).  Take home only the PST file which can be opened in the client as Work Offline.

Converting each and every msg to TXT format is very difficult.

Hope, this will help you.

Yeah, what I want to do is export from Outlook Express on my work machine, e-mail me that file home as an attachment, then import it into Outlokk Express on my home machine.

Any ideas? I got a week before I'm outta here...
