pgm to gif?

I am using NT, the dos version pgmtogif doesn't work. What should I do?
Note, I need the software be script driven so can  be automated.

Paintshop Pro 5. It is one program I know of which can convert a pgm file to a gif file using the "Save As" command from the file menu. You can download it at www.jasc.com
