Digital Hinote Ultra 2000

Anyone had success installing Win98 on this platform ?

I appear to have a problem with IRQ's and the internal modem. Possibly some sort of conflict. Win9 hangs on boot after installing driver for the modem.

Any help appreciated

Do you have on of the com ports in the bios turned off?  if not turn off com 2.

The BIOS only has configuration for one serial port (COM1)
