Defragment

I have windows 98 and im wondering how do i defragment
Ive tried ctrl alt d and ive tried shift ctrl alt d and it wont do anything
what am i doing wrong

Holly,

Try to go to the 'Start'-button and choose 'RUN...'.  Type than 'DEFRAG.EXE' and push the OK button.  Normally, teh defrag software will start (if it is installed of course).  You can find also the Defrag under the START-Menu. (under Accessoires).  If you wanna use shortcuts (CTRL-ALT D or SHIFT-CTRL-ALT D) than you have to define this shortcut.  You can do this by clicking RIGHT the program item in the START-menu and choose Proporty's/  Than you can define the shortcut.
