Hello, I've never programmed CGI programs, and I'd like to know how to Save the TextArea contents of an applet that runs in my local host to the same local host account USING A CGI PROGRAM for this. The Applet would has two TextFields for Host and password, too. Please I need detailed instructions about procedure, besides CGI code.

  Thanks.

Deladier, I'm afraid that doing that with cgi is not possible. The cgi is actually running on the server side and not on the client at all, so you cann't use it to save things on the client. You can however save things on the client machine through an applet that is a signed applet.
Feel free to ask for more details.
