Record Count Update w/multiuser db

What is the appropriate syntax for updating the RecordCount property of a Data Control recordset? My problem arises in a multiuser envioronment, one user adds a record, the other users can see the record and go to it but, the recordcount property will not update

Perform a .Movelast, then a .Movefirst on your data control. It should pick up the correct .recordcount.
