Can't find CD - Andretti Racing (EA Sports)

Hi

I recently purchased Andretti Racing from EA sports. After installing I tried to run the game but it keeps asking me to insert the game CD although the CD is still in the Drive.
I have several EA Sports games but never experienced the problem. I took the game back to the store from which I purchased it but when they tested it, it worked fine.
What is the problem here and how do I solve it?

This is what I found on EA page:

Andretti PC - I receive a "You must have Andretti Racing in your CD-ROM to
continue" error message when I go into a race

           Systems using Multiple CD-ROM drives:

We have found that this error typically occurs in systems with more than one CD-ROM drive or with a multiple CD-ROM changer.
Andretti Racing will successfully install from any of these drives, but will only play from the CD-ROM drive on your system with the
earliest alphabetical drive letter specification. Make sure that you are playing the game on the drive with the earliest letter.

Systems using a single CD-ROM drive:

For systems that contain only one CD-ROM drive, this can occur if the Supplemental cache size is set to "small". Make sure that the
Supplemental Cache size is set to large and the game should run fine. To check your Supplemental Cache settings:

1.First Right-click on the My Computer icon and select Properties.
                 2.Next clickon the Performance tab.
3.Next click on the File System button at the bottom.
4.Then click on the CD-ROM tab.

Here the CD-ROM device (Optimize access pattern for) should be set to the actual speed of the CD-ROM that you have
(double speed, quad speed or higher, etc.) and the Supplemental cache size should be set to large.

4.After making the necessary changes, click OK and try to run the game again.

Hope this helps.
