Floppy Prolems

Recently, my floppy drive started to have problems writing disks.  It could write and read it's own fine, but other computers couldn't read disks that it wrote on.  I ceaned it, and dusted it, whch didn't help.  Now, won't recognize any disk, and initialization always fails!  Please help!  (I have a Performa 6320.)

It seems you floppy drive is DOA. When you can write and read your own disks, but nobody can else can. Than that means your heads are misalligned.

I you can't read or write anything anymore it means your floppy drive is broken and needs to be replaced. Find a local mac supplies store and buy an other disk drive (approx. $ 70.00). You can easily replace it yourself
