asked on
NetBIOS API
Greetings!
Could anyone direct me to a document describing how
to call NetBIOS API from under OS/2? All I need in
fact is to perform NETBIOS.STATUS call.
The answer is: URL of document/hint or detailed
directions on where to find them. Not just include
files etc but documented process of calling NetBIOS/
NetBEUI.

I have asked very definite question and the resource I am
looking for should contain exact OS/2 NetBIOS API details I've
mentioned. Of course I tried using search engines. Moreover,
the URL you offered has nothing to do with OS/2 native
programming. Sorry. This is not the answer I need.

and entering: +netbios +call +api
reveals 2674 "hits",
i.e., documents containing all three words.
Example: http://www.people.cornell.edu/pages/asu1/netbios.htm
contains the text;
NetBIOS is a network API developed by IBM in the early eighties.
It provides a straightforward command interface that facilitates
either datagram or session level service. Datagram services are
characterized by small packet sizes up to 512 bytes
whereas session level services allow packet sizes up to 64K.
Maybe, one of the other "hits" is more to your liking?
