playing a sound file .wav or .voc

E.E how do you play a sound file through the speakers of a p.c? i don't have a sound blaster but a 100% compatible.
I'll give you the IRQ's and stuff.


if possible could you let me know which compiler you are using?.

Does the PlaySound() API procedure work for your needs?

If you want to "do it yourself", without windows' help  (or if this isn't for windows, I didn't think about that)  then you might want to look at.


They have sample source code and lots of programming information.
