reinstalling WIN95

How do I reinstall WIN95? I have never done this before, I am tire of paying to have it done. I want to delete all information and start with a clean WIN95. I am a little past novice so please help with step by step instructions.

Format a floppy as bootable (ie copy system files). Copy onto it the following files:

c:\windows\command\format.exe
c:\windows\command\fdisk.exe
c:\windows\command\edit.exe
c:\windows\command\mscdex.exe
c:\windows\himem.sys
c:\cdrom\sscdrom.sys (or whatever your dos cdrom driver is called)
c:\mouse\mouse.exe (or whatever your dos mouse driver is)

Now create a file called config.sys on the floppy, containing:

device=a:\himem.sys
dos=high,umb
device=a:\sscdrom.sys /d:cd_drv     (substitute your cdrom driver for sscdrom)

and another file called autoexec.bat, containing:

@echo off
mscdex /d:cd_drv /l:d   (substiute the letter your cdrom is after the l: if it's not d:)
mouse

Now boot off this disk, put your 96 cd in the drive.

You should get an a: prompt, and if you type 'd:', a d: prompt. Check this so you've got access to your cdrom.

Now format your hard drive (format c: /u /q), and run setup off the cd.

Follow the prompts given by the setup program and you shouldn't go far wrong. When it's installed and rebooted, install your graphics card, sound card, modem etc.. drivers.

Keep the floppy in a safe place for the next time you need it. This is the easiest way of installing windows, there are many others, but this is the most hassle free method.
