Hello,
How can I install my Java Application on Sun/Unix to use my program without using the Workshop.

go to http://www.javasoft.com/products/index.html and download the complete jdk or just the jre (if you want to deploy an application for running and not developing the jre is enough), install it on your sun machine as indicated in the documentation, make sure that your CLASSPATH variable points also to you application classes area, and run your application using the command:
java MyApplicationName
Note that if you develop an applet and not an application, than your runtime enviroment would be supplied by the browser and in this case you dont have to install anything.
