I have written a java program that compiles, but I get a warning that I need to recompile using -deprecation.  I am in a Unix environment and typically use "javac" to compile.  Would anyone care to let me know how to add this to my compilation?  ( I am using a deprecated API)  thanks

javac without parameters would show you all the acceptable options. Also the JDK documentation describes all the executables included into the kit.
