how to change keyboard language in dos mode

here is my problem : i'm working on win nt workstation 4,0 and my keyboard is in belgian french but when i want change it in dos mode, i can't.  i've tried to launch keyb us command in autoexec.nt   and  at the command prompt but impossible to enable the us keyboard ( the driver is installed on NT ).  The only way i can change my keyboard in dos mode is to change it too in NT, what i don't wanna do.  Could you help me quickly please ?

Start->Settings->Control Panel->Keyboard __| Input Locales

Add your favorite language
Enable "Switch locales" (for example with Shift+Alt)

ready to use.
NOTE that changing the locale depends on the application, so you may different locales in different applications simultaneously.
If you also have enabled "Enable indicator on taskbar" you may easyly control this.
