How can I create a shortcut (.lnk file) in an MFC AppWizard program?  I need to be able to create and modify shortcut files on the fly.

I searched online help and found a function called CreateLink, but it doesn't work.

I don't have an example handy at this moment so I'm posting this as a comment.  You create/delete/modify links using the IShellLink interface.  See it's documentation for more info.  If someone has an example handy, I'm sure that they will post it.

Thanks.  Looks like that will work.  My only problem now is that I need to know what header files to include in order for this code to execute.  I will try to get this from the author of this code at that web site.
