program(under windows 95) to make a modem work like a netcard

I want to use vc to design my program to make my modem
work like a netcard ,so I can run top applications such as tcp/ip through the modem which does as the lower layer .I know win95's dial-up network can do this ,but I       want to program to control it,and I don't know how to program ,such as what api can be used and how to use them. Any answer was appriciated

I suggest you take a look at the RASAPI functions in the online help of your VC.  Search for "Remote Access Service" or "RAS" and browse from there.  It discusses functions like RasDial() etc. that allow you to control the dial-up connection.

I have tried using rasdial api in VC++ 5.0,but when linking ,an error occurd  that external funtion unresolved  _RasDialA@24  ,what  can i do ?

I  linked the rasdial ;but in win95 ,i run the application using  rasdial api ,there is no respond ,is there  anything that must  be done such as initialling modem setting before calling rasdial? I pass the params such as telenum,username,pwd,domain to call rasdial
Is there anything else to be add to establish the ras connection ?

In NT RAS seems not really log the user onto the network; that is ,a logon dialogue is poped-up after calling RasDial API, I have no way to control the logon in my program expect manully logging .Is there any ?
