Oscilloscope

I am collecting some data through a data acquisition board and want to plot it on my client space. In short I want to convert the client space into an Oscilloscope like thing, how do I do this? I would be happy if somebody would give me some sample code to do this.

I would do something like this:

In your document class, create a circular list with as many
elements as you want samples shown on the screen.

Insert the values from your data acquisition board into this list, when it is full you just overwrite the oldest one.

In your client windows OnDraw operator, insert code to draw a diagram from the list in the document class. You know how to draw in a window, right?

If you don't want to implement a circular list yourself, just use an array with read and write indexes.

Unfortunately I don't have any code for you to do this.

I have purchased a library of graphics tools that do just what you need. It is not expensive and will save you a lot of time. Let me know if you are interested in this information.

There are a few different products
1. Real time graphing tools
2. charting tools (for graphing static data)
3. Graphics class library for MFC.  You need the first two to get
   this one.
