Launching External Applications

How would I go about launching external applications from within my VC applications? (something like notepad or maybe even the default browser). I didn't see any type of class to handle that sort of thing in the MSDN. Thnx

Probably the simplest function to use will be ShellExecute in the WinAPI.

ShellExecute( this->GetSafeHwnd( ), "open", strProgram, NULL, strDirectory, SW_SHOWMINIMIZED );
