Does the LEXMARK display this error-message,
on its display, or does Windows display this message?

JOSTATMN ??==  JOb STatus MoNitor ??

The problem is with the printer driver. Have you recently instaleld
IE 4. Install the printer drivers again.

If I infer it correctly soolvd your problem by reinstalling printer drivers. Then why not give me the points. If you solved it by doing something else, REJECT this answer else grade it.

Your printer cable must be old style,(Old modle) type of cable.  Most of new printer today have bidirectional Paralle port, which incliding the PC too.  So you need to get a newest type of printer cable which will support the bidirectional port.
