Can anyone tell me the correct jumper setting for using the 7131AT drive as the master and another drive as the slave.
Have been to maxtor homepage only the 7131A is listed and those setting don't seem to work. There also seem to be 3 possible cmos settings??
Sorry this appears to be 2 questions

Thanks

It appears that J-20 is to be jumpered for either master or master with slave present.
Some of the older IDE drives will not operate together with certain others.
You can find info for both drives here:

Let me know if you need more.

Ralph Thanks for the speedy reply.  I was able to get that from maxtors homepage.
I guess that the AT ver is no different and that perhaps that drive is one of the older ones that doesn't like talking to different drives.

Thanks again
