Overclocking

I overclocked my bus frequency to 75Mhz so the p2 233 runs at 262 (also tried 83Mhz - 291Mhz)
I was wondering under wich condition it might damage the cpu and if i could try 83Mhz safely. I also wanna know
if it could damage other components.
here's a description of my computer
-Asus MB P2L97 acpi bios revision 1001 (4/21/98)
-75mhz bus clock
-P2 233mhz  (262)
-128M ram
-Seagate medalist pro 9140 ultra ata (primary master)
-acer 32x cdrom (primary slave)
-HP 7200i cdr (secondary master)
-creative dxr2 dvd-rom (secondary slave)
-pci mpeg decoder board for dxr2
-agp ati all in wonder pro 8M
-isa sbawe64 gold
-isa winmodem 28.8 (x2 drivers installed)
-D-link pci ethernet card
Run win 98 build 4.10.1998 msplus98

The points will be awarded to the experts that gives me the most complete answer for both overclocking to 83 and what damage might result (url welcomed )

Thanx
