I am trying to convert a paradox db to access 97? I also need to know if it makes a difference whether the files are flat or not.
I have found information on how to do the vice versa but not on converting to Access 97.

A. Install built-in database drivers

1 Rerun the Setup program, and then click Add/Remove.
How?
2 Select Data Access And ActiveX Controls, and then click Change Option.
3 Select Database Drivers, and then click Change Option.
4 Select the drivers you want to install, and then click OK twice.
5 Click Continue, and follow the instructions in the remaining Setup dialog boxes.

Note   The Lotus 1-2-3, Paradox, and Microsoft Exchange/Outlook drivers are not included in Setup, but they are available through the Office 97 ValuPack.
